Operating Instructions
Adjusting Headrest & Harness
The No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness straps simultaneously. Simply squeeze the adjustment handle at the top of the headrest and slide it up or down to the desired position. Ensure the harness straps are at or just below the child's shoulders for rear-facing, and at or just above the child's shoulders for forward-facing.

Recline Positions
The car seat features 6 recline positions. To adjust, locate the recline lever at the front of the car seat base, lift the lever, and tilt the seat to the desired position. Ensure the seat clicks securely into place.
Harness Storage
When transitioning to highback booster mode, the harness straps can be conveniently stored in the integrated compartment within the car seat, eliminating the need to remove them entirely.
Cup Holders
The two integrated cup holders are designed to keep your child's drinks and snacks within easy reach. They are removable for cleaning.
Maintenance & Care
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and hygiene of your car seat.
- Seat Pad: The seat pad is machine washable. Refer to the care tag on the fabric for specific washing instructions. Typically, use cold water on a delicate cycle and air dry.
- Harness Straps: Wipe harness straps with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or immerse in water, as this may weaken the straps.
- Buckle: Clean the buckle by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents or lubricants.
- Plastic and Metal Parts: Wipe plastic and metal parts with mild soap and cool water.
Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Tightening Harness: Ensure the harness straps are not twisted and are routed correctly through the appropriate slots. Check that the chest clip is at armpit level.
- Car Seat Not Level (Rear-Facing): Re-adjust the recline position using the recline lever until the level indicator bubble is entirely within the blue zone. You may need to adjust the vehicle seatback or use a rolled towel/pool noodle under the base if permitted by your vehicle and car seat manuals.
- Loose Installation: Ensure the LATCH connectors or vehicle seat belt are pulled as tight as possible. Press down firmly on the car seat while tightening to remove slack. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.
