Setup

1. Charging the Receiver:

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the receiver's charging port.

  4. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use. If the device does not turn on, the battery may be low.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device:

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Multifunction Key for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
  2. Activate Bluetooth: On your mobile phone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth.
  3. Search for Devices: Search for available Bluetooth devices. You should see "Receiver BT" or "UrbanX BT Receiver 5.0" in the list.
  4. Connect: Select "Receiver BT" or "UrbanX BT Receiver 5.0" to pair. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.
  5. Connect to Audio System: Plug the 3.5mm audio connector into the AUX input of your car stereo, home speaker system, or directly into your wired headphones.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

  • Power On: Press and hold the Multifunction Key for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will flash blue.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Multifunction Key for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.

Music Playback:

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Multifunction Key.
  • Next Track: Double press the Multifunction Key.
  • Previous Track: Triple press the Multifunction Key.
  • Volume control is typically managed directly from your connected Bluetooth device (phone, tablet).

Hands-Free Calling:

  • Answer Call: Short press the Multifunction Key when a call comes in.
  • End Call: Short press the Multifunction Key during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Multifunction Key for 2 seconds when a call comes in.
  • Redial Last Number: Double press the Multifunction Key when not on a call.
