Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Charge: Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Micro-USB cable and power adapter. Connect the Micro-USB end to the charging port on the sound machine and the USB-A end to the power adapter, then plug into a wall outlet. The power indicator light will show charging status.
3. Placement: Place the sound machine on a flat, stable surface, such as a nightstand or desk. Ensure it is away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• Press the Power button () to turn the device ON. The power indicator light will illuminate.
• Press the Power button again to turn the device OFF.

Sound Selection and Mixing

The sound machine features individual sliders for each of the 8 sounds, allowing you to mix and layer them to create your desired soundscape.

1. Identify the icons above each slider corresponding to the sound (e.g., fan, rain, ocean).
2. Move the slider up to increase the volume of that specific sound and down to decrease it.
3. Combine multiple sounds by adjusting their respective sliders simultaneously.

Volume Control

• Use the Volume Up (+) button to increase the overall volume of the mixed sounds.
• Use the Volume Down (-) button to decrease the overall volume.

Night Light Operation

The sound machine includes a night-light feature with 7 color options.

• Press the Light button () to turn on the night-light.
• Press the Light button repeatedly to cycle through the 7 available colors.
• To turn off the night-light, continue pressing the Light button until it switches off, or hold the button down for a few seconds.

Timer Function

Set an auto-off timer for 30, 60, or 90 minutes.

• Press the Timer button () to activate the timer.
• Each press will cycle through 30, 60, and 90 minutes, indicated by corresponding LED lights.
• To deactivate the timer, press the Timer button until no timer LED is illuminated.

Charging

The Brookstone White Noise Sound Machine Mixer is rechargeable for portable use.

• Connect the provided Micro-USB cable to the charging port on the device.
• Plug the other end of the USB cable into the included power adapter, then into a standard wall outlet.
