3. Safety Information

5. Installation and Wiring

Important: Ensure the main power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.

1. Disconnect Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the switch you intend to automate and turn it off. Verify that the power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Wiring: Remove the existing wall switch from its electrical box. Identify the Live (L) wire, Neutral (N) wire, and the Load (L1/OUT) wire connected to your light fixture or appliance. If using an external switch, identify the switch wire (S1).

6. Setup and Pairing

6.1 App Installation and Wi-Fi Pairing

1. Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in with an existing one.
3. Enter Pairing Mode: After power-up, the module should automatically enter pairing mode (indicated by a rapidly blinking LED, if present). If not, press and hold the physical button on the module for 5-10 seconds until the LED blinks rapidly.
4. Add Device: In the app, tap the "+" icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a new device. Select "Electrical Switch" or "Switch (Wi-Fi)".
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the module to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is also connected to the same 2.4 GHz network during pairing.

6.2 RF 433MHz Remote Pairing

To pair an RF 433MHz remote control (not included) with the SH104 module:

1. Enter RF Pairing Mode: Briefly press the physical button on the SH104 module twice. The module's indicator light will typically blink slowly to indicate it's ready for RF pairing.
2. Press Remote Button: Within a few seconds, press the desired button on your RF 433MHz remote control that you wish to associate with the module.
3. Confirmation: The module's indicator light will usually stop blinking or flash quickly to confirm successful pairing.

6.3 Voice Assistant Integration (Alexa/Google Home)

To enable voice control, link your Tuya Smart or Smart Life account to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app:

1. Open Voice Assistant App: Open the Amazon Alexa app or Google Home app on your smartphone.
