3. Setup
- Unpack the Dehumidifier: Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Positioning: Place the dehumidifier upright on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of free space around the air inlet and outlet for optimal performance. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Allow to Settle: After transport, allow the unit to stand upright for a minimum of 24 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This is crucial for the refrigerant to stabilize.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.
- Wi-Fi Setup (Optional): Download the Cecotec app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your dehumidifier to your home Wi-Fi network. This typically involves pressing the Wi-Fi button on the unit for 5 seconds.
4. Operating Instructions
Control Panel:
The dehumidifier features a touch control panel and an LED display on the top of the unit.

Basic Operation:
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the unit on or off. The LED display will show the current room temperature and humidity.
