3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two CR2032 button batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Placement Options
The thermometer offers versatile placement options:
- Desktop Placement: Use the built-in stand to place the device on any flat surface.
- Magnetic Attachment: The device has a strong built-in magnet for direct attachment to metal surfaces like refrigerators.
- Wall Mounting: Use the provided adhesive pad to attach the device to a clean, dry wall surface. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to set before placing the thermometer on it.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Display Overview
The large LCD display shows the following information:
- Temperature: Current temperature in Fahrenheit (℉) or Celsius (℃).
- Humidity: Current relative humidity in percentage (%).
- Comfort Indicator: A color bar indicating DRY (red), COMFORT (green), or WET (blue) conditions.
- Date and Time: Current date and time.

4.2 Setting Temperature Units (℉/℃)
To switch between Fahrenheit (℉) and Celsius (℃), press the "+" button located on the back of the device.
4.3 Setting Time Format (12h/24h)
To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, press the "-" button located on the back of the device.
4.4 Understanding the Comfort Indicator
The comfort indicator provides a quick visual reference for air conditions:
- DRY (Red): Humidity below 30%.
- COMFORT (Green): Humidity between 30% and 69%.
- WET (Blue): Humidity above 70%.

4.5 Date and Time Setting
The device includes a date and clock feature. Refer to the specific buttons on the back of the device for setting the date and time. Typically, a "SET" button or a combination of "+" and "-" buttons are used to adjust these values.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
When the display dims or the device stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1. Use two new CR2032 button batteries.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
6. Troubleshooting
- Display shows "LL%" or "HH%":
"LL%" indicates humidity below 20%. "HH%" indicates humidity above 95%. This is normal operation for extreme conditions.
- Display shows "LL℉/LL℃" or "HH℉/HH℃":
"LL℉/LL℃" indicates temperature below 14.2℉ (-9.9℃). "HH℉/HH℃" indicates temperature above 140℉ (60℃). This is normal operation for extreme conditions.
- Inaccurate Readings:
Ensure the device is placed in a stable environment away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts that could affect readings. The sensor refreshes every 10 seconds. Allow time for readings to stabilize after placement or environmental changes.
- No Backlight:
This model does not feature a backlight to conserve battery life. Ensure adequate lighting to read the display.
- Device Not Powering On:
Check if the batteries are installed correctly with the right polarity. Replace batteries with new CR2032 cells if necessary.
