Setup and Initial Use
Unboxing and Inspection
Upon receiving your Moman Mini V Mount Battery, carefully unbox it and inspect for any signs of damage. Ensure all components are present as listed in the packaging.

Charging the Battery
The Moman Power 99 battery can be recharged via its D-Tap ports using a compatible D-Tap charger (not included). The 5-LED gauge indicates the remaining battery life. Each LED represents approximately 20% of the battery's charge.
- Connect a D-Tap charger to either D-Tap input/output port on the battery.
- Monitor the 5-LED gauge to track charging progress. All 5 LEDs will illuminate when fully charged.
- It is recommended to avoid completely draining the battery to 0% to prolong its lifespan. Aim to recharge when the battery level is low but not fully depleted.

Mounting the Battery
The battery is designed for easy mounting on V-mount plates, typically found on cameras, rigs, or lighting equipment. Align the V-mount battery with the V-mount plate and slide it down until it clicks securely into place.

- The battery supports up to 15A continuous current draw and up to 200 Watts total power output, allowing you to power multiple high-demand devices concurrently.

The Moman Power 99 is built with high-quality Panasonic or Samsung battery cells, ensuring over 97% efficiency and a recharge cycle of over 1000 times. To maximize the battery's lifespan:
- Avoid completely discharging the battery. It is best to recharge before it reaches 0%.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- The intelligent battery management circuit protects against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and overheating.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Moman Mini V Mount Battery, consider the following:
- Battery Not Charging: Ensure the D-Tap charger is properly connected and functional. Check for any debris in the D-Tap ports.
- Devices Not Powering On: Verify that the battery has sufficient charge using the 5-LED gauge. Ensure cables are securely connected to both the battery and the device. Check if the device's power requirements exceed the battery's output capacity (200W max).
- Overheating: If the battery feels excessively hot, disconnect it from all devices and chargers immediately. Allow it to cool down in a well-ventilated area. Overheating can indicate an issue with the battery or the connected device.
