Setup

1. Battery Installation

The UR-608 headphones require two (2) AAA batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the product.

  1. Locate the battery cover on one of the headphone earcups.
  2. Gently slide or lift the battery cover to open it.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the battery compartment.
  4. Replace the battery cover securely.

2. Initial Connection to Vehicle System

Ensure your vehicle's entertainment system is powered on and transmitting an infrared audio signal.

  • Turn on the headphones using the Power Switch.
  • Select the appropriate channel (Channel A or Channel B) on the headphones to match the channel being broadcast by your vehicle's system. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for details on channel selection.

1. Power ON/OFF

Locate the POWER SWITCH on the headphone earcup. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to power on the headphones. Slide it to the "OFF" position to power them off.

2. Volume Adjustment

The VOLUME ADJUSTMENT control is located on the earcup. Use this control to increase or decrease the audio volume to your preferred listening level.

3. Channel Selection

The CHANNEL SWITCH (for Model UR-608 only) allows you to select between two infrared audio channels: Channel A and Channel B. Ensure this switch is set to the same channel as your vehicle's entertainment system is transmitting. If you experience no sound or interference, try switching channels.

  • Channel A: Right channel 2.8MHz / Left channel 2.3MHz
  • Channel B: Right channel 3.8MHz / Left channel 3.2MHz

4. Power Indicator Light

The POWER INDICATOR LIGHT provides visual feedback on the headphone's status:

  • This light turns red if the headphones are in 2MHz receiving mode (Channel A).
  • The light turns green if the mode is in 3MHz (Channel B).

5. Automatic Muting and Auto Power-Off

The headphones feature automatic muting on receiving headphones when no signal is present. Additionally, they include an auto power-off function that activates when no signal is detected for a period, conserving battery life.

6. Using the Remote Control
