4. Setup

4.1 Wired Connection

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
2. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into an available USB port on your computer.
3. The keyboard will automatically be recognized and ready for use. The keyboard will also charge in wired mode.

4.2 Bluetooth Connection

The keyboard supports connecting to up to three Bluetooth devices (BT1, BT2, BT3).

1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
2. Press and hold the Fn + Q (for BT1), Fn + W (for BT2), or Fn + E (for BT3) keys for 3-5 seconds until the corresponding key (Q, W, or E) flashes rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
3. On your device (PC, Mac, mobile phone), navigate to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
4. Select "SK961" from the list of available devices to pair.
5. Once paired, the corresponding key (Q, W, or E) will stop flashing and remain steadily lit for a few seconds, then return to the current backlight mode.
6. To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, simply press Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 RGB Backlight Control

The SK961 features 20 RGB lighting effects. Use the following key combinations to control the backlight:

• Fn + \|: Switch between 20 different RGB lighting modes.
• Fn + Enter: Switch lighting colors within certain modes.
• Fn + Up Arrow: Increase backlight brightness.

6. Maintenance

2. Use a switch puller (not included) to carefully extract the mechanical switch from the keyboard plate.

4. Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks. Ensure it is seated correctly and not bent.
5. Replace the keycap.

6.2 Cleaning

• Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
• Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
• For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps and wipe them with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
• Wipe the keyboard surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.

• Keyboard not responding (Wired): Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
