This manual provides detailed instructions for the NIXON Regulus Expedition A1324 Digital Sport Watch. Setup

Initial Power-On

Upon first use or after a battery replacement, the watch may be in a power-saving state. Press and hold any button for approximately 5 seconds to activate the display and begin initial setup.

Setting Time and Date

  1. Press the MODE button to navigate to the Time Setting mode.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour, minute, year, month, and day.
  3. Press MODE again to confirm each setting and move to the next.
  4. Select 12-hour or 24-hour format as desired.

Unit Selection

The watch allows selection of measurement units for altimeter, barometer, and thermometer. In the respective modes, press the UNITS button (if available, or refer to specific mode instructions) to toggle between metric and imperial units (e.g., feet/meters for altitude, Fahrenheit/Celsius for temperature).

Operating Instructions

Altimeter Function

The altimeter measures current altitude. It can be calibrated for accuracy. The display shows current altitude and a graph of recent altitude changes. Sensor data retrieval can be adjusted between 1 second and 5 minutes to optimize battery life.

Barometer Function

The NIXON Regulus Expedition A1324 is 100M water resistant. This rating is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not designed for scuba diving. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged to prevent water ingress.

Battery Replacement

The watch operates on a battery. When the battery level is low, the display may indicate this. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance. Improper battery replacement can compromise the watch's water resistance and functionality.
