Maintenance
Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. For the silicone strap, mild soap and water can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the watch finish or strap.
Water Resistance
The NIXON Regulus Expedition A1324 is 100M water resistant. This rating is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not designed for scuba diving. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged to prevent water ingress.
Battery Replacement
The watch operates on a battery. When the battery level is low, the display may indicate this. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance. Improper battery replacement can compromise the watch's water resistance and functionality.

Troubleshooting
- Watch not turning on: Ensure the battery is not depleted. If new, press and hold any button for 5 seconds to activate. If the issue persists, consider professional battery inspection.
- Inaccurate Altimeter/Barometer/Compass readings: Calibrate the sensors according to the operating instructions. Ensure the watch is not near strong magnetic fields for compass readings. For temperature, remove the watch from your wrist for accurate ambient readings.
- Display issues (e.g., pixelation, unresponsiveness): The watch features a high-resolution MLCD display. If display anomalies occur, try resetting the watch (refer to the full manual for specific reset procedures, if available). If the problem persists, contact customer support.
- Buttons unresponsive or stiff: Ensure no debris is lodged around the buttons. If buttons remain stiff, avoid forcing them and contact support.
- Short battery life: Adjust sensor data retrieval frequency (e.g., for altimeter/barometer) to a longer interval if continuous real-time updates are not required. Ensure power-saving features are enabled if available.
