1. Introduction

3. Setup Instructions

The FLEXstand is designed for quick and easy assembly without the need for additional tools, except for securing the base plate.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and verify against the "What's in the Box" list.
2. Attach Pole to Base:
   • Place the base plate on a flat, stable surface.
   • Insert the bottom end of the telescoping pole into the central opening of the base plate.
   • Align the threaded holes on the pole with the corresponding holes on the base plate.
   • Use the provided flush mount screws and Allen key to secure the pole to the base plate. Ensure screws are tightened firmly but do not overtighten.
3. Adjust Height:
   • To extend the pole, grasp the upper section and lift. The trigger-style safety release will engage at various height intervals.
   • To lower the pole, press the trigger-style safety release button and gently guide the pole downwards. Ensure the pole is fully supported during descent.
   • Always ensure the safety release is fully engaged before mounting equipment.

4. Operating Instructions

The FLEXstand is designed to support a variety of lighting fixtures and audio speakers.

1. Mounting Lighting Equipment:
   • The pole features different diameters to accommodate various lighting clamps. Select the appropriate section of the pole for your clamp.
   • Secure your lighting fixture using a compatible clamp (not included) to the desired height on the pole. Ensure the clamp is tightened securely.
2. Mounting Audio Speakers:
   • The top of the telescoping pole tapers into a standard speaker mount.
   • Carefully place your speaker onto the tapered mount. Ensure the speaker is seated firmly and balanced.
3. Positioning: The threaded pole can be inserted into multiple positions on the base for different applications, allowing for flexible placement of your equipment.
4. Safety Considerations:
   • Always ensure the stand is on a stable, level surface before mounting any equipment.
   • Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the stand (refer to specifications).
   • Distribute weight evenly when mounting multiple items.
