5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your deep fryer.
- Power On: Ensure the fryer is plugged in. Turn the main power switch (usually red) to the 'ON' position. The 'Power' indicator light will illuminate.
- Set Temperature: Turn the 'Temperature Controller' knob to your desired frying temperature (range: 140°F - 392°F / 60°C - 200°C). The 'Heating' indicator light will turn on, indicating the oil is heating.
- Preheat Oil: Allow the oil to preheat. The 'Heating' indicator light will turn off once the set temperature is reached, and cycle on/off to maintain temperature. This may take several minutes depending on the oil volume and desired temperature.
- Prepare Food: While the oil is heating, prepare your food. Ensure food items are dry to minimize splattering. Do not overload the basket.
- Frying:
- Carefully place food into the frying basket.
- Slowly lower the basket into the hot oil. Avoid dropping food into the oil.
- Set the 'Timer Controller' knob for the desired cooking duration (0-60 minutes). The timer will alert you when the time is up.
- Monitor the food during frying.
- Remove Food: Once food is cooked, carefully lift the frying basket out of the oil. Hook the basket onto the basket hanging knobs on the control panel to allow excess oil to drain back into the tank.
- Serve: Transfer fried food to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.
- Power Off: When finished frying, turn the 'Temperature Controller' knob to the lowest setting, then turn the main power switch to 'OFF'. Unplug the fryer from the wall outlet.
- Cool Down: Allow the oil and fryer to cool completely before cleaning or moving. This can take several hours.

- Oil Tank, Basket, Residue Plate, Lid: Wash these components with warm soapy water. Use a non-abrasive sponge or brush to remove oil residue. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
