Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

2. Powering On/Off

Locate the Power ON/OFF switch on the control panel. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Slide it to the 'OFF' position to power off the speaker.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your device via Bluetooth:

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button until you hear a Bluetooth pairing prompt.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "SC142" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will indicate a successful connection, and you can begin playing audio wirelessly.

2. AUX-in Mode

To play audio via AUX-in:

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) to the AUX-IN port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack of your audio device (e.g., DVD player, MP3 player).
  3. Press the 'M' (Mode) button on the speaker until you hear the AUX-in mode prompt.
  4. Play audio from your connected device.

3. USB Playback

To play audio from a USB drive:

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the speaker.
  2. The speaker should automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing audio. If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button until USB mode is activated.

4. Microphone Input

To use a microphone:

  1. Connect a wired microphone (not included) to the Microphone Jack on the speaker.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume as needed. The microphone input can be used simultaneously with other audio sources.

5. Controlling Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button to start or pause playback.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up button to skip to the next track.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down button to go to the previous track.
  • Volume Adjustment: Press the Volume Up or Volume Down buttons briefly to adjust the volume level.

6. LED Light Modes

The speaker features multiple LED light modes. To cycle through the modes or turn off the lights:

  • Press the 'M' button (Mode button) to switch between different light modes.
  • Continue pressing the 'M' button to cycle through the available light patterns.
  • Pressing the 'M' button a fourth time will turn off the LED lights.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker's exterior with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays directly on the speaker.
