Setup and Installation
The JCR311 is designed for single DIN installation. Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation.
Physical Installation
- Mount the radio cage securely into your vehicle's dashboard opening.
- Connect the wiring harness to the vehicle's existing wiring, matching colors and functions as per your vehicle's wiring diagram.
- Connect the antenna cable to the radio antenna input on the rear of the unit.
- If using external amplifiers, connect the RCA preamp outputs to your amplifier's inputs.
- Slide the JCR311 unit into the mounted radio cage until it locks into place.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the POWER button (usually the volume knob) to turn the unit on or off.
Source Selection
Press the MODE button to cycle through available audio sources: AM/FM Radio, CD, USB, Bluetooth, and Auxiliary Input.
Bluetooth Operation
- Pairing: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. Select "JCR311" from the list of available devices. A confirmation tone will sound upon successful pairing.
- Hands-Free Calling: When a call comes in, the unit will display the caller ID. Press the CALL button (phone icon) to answer. Press again to end the call.
- Audio Streaming: Once paired, audio from your device will stream wirelessly to the JCR311. Use the unit's controls or your device to manage playback.
The Bluetooth feature allows for wireless audio streaming and hands-free calling.
Voice Assistant (SIRI/Google)
Press the dedicated VOICE ASSIST button (often marked with a microphone icon) to activate your smartphone's voice assistant. Speak your commands clearly after the prompt.

J-Link App Control
Download the J-Link App from your smartphone's app store. Once installed and connected via Bluetooth, the app allows you to control various receiver functions including settings, song selection, station tuning, and volume directly from your smartphone.

CD/USB/MP3 Playback
- CD: Insert a CD into the disc slot. Playback will begin automatically. Use the TRACK UP/DOWN buttons to skip tracks.
- USB: Insert a USB drive into the front USB port. The unit will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback of compatible audio files. The USB port also provides charging for your device.
- MP3: MP3 files on CD or USB will display ID3 tag information (song title, artist, album) on the LCD screen.

AM/FM Radio
- Tuning: Press the TUNE UP/DOWN buttons to manually tune to stations. Press and hold for automatic seek tuning.

- EQ Settings: Access the equalizer settings through the menu to select from 7 preset EQ curves or adjust the 2 band tone control.
