4.4 Initial Configuration
- Launch the "NVSEE Int 'I" app or CMS software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code or manually entering the camera's ID.
- Set up a secure password for your camera to prevent unauthorized access.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Remote Viewing (P2P)
The camera supports P2P (Peer-to-Peer) remote viewing, allowing you to monitor your premises from anywhere using the "NVSEE Int 'I" app on your smartphone or the CMS software on your computer.

5.2 Manual Zoom and Focus Adjustment
The camera features a 2.8-12mm manual zoom lens. To adjust the field of view and focus:
- Physically rotate the zoom ring on the lens to adjust the focal length (2.8mm for wider view, 12mm for narrower/closer view).
- Rotate the focus ring to achieve a clear image at your desired focal length.

Figure 5.2: The camera's zoom function allows adjustment of the lens range from 2.8mm to 12mm, enabling users to achieve optimal viewing distances.
5.3 Motion Detection and Email Alarm
Configure motion detection and email alarm settings through the "NVSEE Int 'I" app or CMS software. When motion is detected, the camera can trigger an alarm and send email notifications.
5.4 Video Encoding (H.265/H.264)
The camera supports both H.265 and H.264 video compression formats. H.265 offers more efficient compression, requiring less bandwidth and storage for the same video quality compared to H.264. You can switch between these formats in the camera settings via the CMS software or app, especially if your NVR (Network Video Recorder) has specific compatibility requirements.
5.5 Real-time Monitoring
View live footage from your camera through the installed app or software. The camera provides clear images in various lighting conditions.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To ensure optimal performance, regularly clean the camera lens and housing. Use a soft, dry cloth for the housing. For the lens, use a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
6.2 Environmental Conditions
The camera is designed for indoor use. Ensure it operates within the specified environmental conditions:
- Operating Temperature: -25°C to 60°C (-13°F to 140°F)
- Operating Humidity: 10% to 90% (non-condensing)
Note: The camera's metal case may become warm during operation. This is normal and safe due to heat dissipation from internal components.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Image/Offline Camera
- Check Power: Ensure the 12V/2A power adapter is correctly connected and receiving power.
- Check Network Connection: Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the camera and the router/switch. Confirm your network is functioning correctly.
- IP Address Conflict: If using static IP addresses, ensure there are no conflicts on your network. Try restarting your router and the camera.
7.2 Image Quality Issues
- Blurry Image: Adjust the manual focus ring on the lens until the image is clear.
- Poor Resolution: Ensure your viewing software (app/CMS) or NVR is configured to display the camera's 3MP resolution. If your NVR does not support 3MP or H.265, you may need to change the camera's settings to 1080P (2MP) and H.264 via the CMS software.
- Low Light Performance: Ensure the camera is operating within its minimum illumination specifications (0.1Lux @(F1.2,AGC ON)).
7.3 Remote Access Problems
- P2P Connection: Ensure your internet connection is stable. Check if the camera is properly registered with the P2P service through the app.
- Firewall Settings: Your network firewall might be blocking the camera's communication. Consult your network administrator or router manual to adjust firewall settings if necessary.
