2. Attach VESA Plate to Monitor
The VESA plate is detachable for easy installation. Secure the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws from the hardware kit. Ensure the screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.

3. Mount Arm to Wall
Using the provided template (if included) or by marking the drill holes, securely attach the wall mount arm to your chosen wall type. Ensure all screws are firmly anchored.
4. Attach Monitor to Arm
Carefully slide the monitor (with the attached VESA plate) onto the arm's mounting head. The top slots on the VESA plate make this process easier. Secure the monitor by tightening the safety screws.
5. Cable Management
Utilize the built-in cable management system and included cable clips to route and conceal your monitor cables for a tidy workspace.

Operating and Adjustments
The BONTEC Monitor Wall Mount Arm features a gas spring system for smooth and effortless adjustments, allowing you to customize your viewing experience.
Gas Spring Tension Adjustment
The gas spring counterbalance needs to be adjusted to the weight of your monitor. Use the provided hex key to turn the bolt:
- Turn clockwise for lighter screens (to reduce tension).
- Turn counter-clockwise for heavier screens (to increase tension).
Adjust until the monitor floats freely at any desired height.

Height Adjustment
The gas spring arm allows for approximately 11.5 inches of vertical height adjustment. Simply push or pull the monitor to your desired height.

Tilt, Swivel, and Rotation
The mount offers extensive flexibility for optimal viewing angles:
- Tilt: -45° to +45° (adjusts screen angle up or down).
- Swivel: 180° (moves screen left or right).
- Rotation: 360° (allows for landscape or portrait orientation).

Maintenance
- Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- Clean the mount with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the gas spring mechanism.
Troubleshooting
- Monitor does not stay at desired height or drifts down:
- The gas spring tension is too low for your monitor's weight. Increase the gas spring tension by turning the adjustment bolt counter-clockwise using the provided hex key.
- Monitor floats up too easily or does not stay down:
- The gas spring tension is too high for your monitor's weight. Decrease the gas spring tension by turning the adjustment bolt clockwise using the provided hex key.
- Mount feels unstable or wobbly:
- Ensure all wall mounting screws and VESA plate screws are securely tightened. Verify that the mount is installed on a suitable wall type (wood stud, concrete, or brick) and not just drywall.
- Cables are not neatly managed:
- Utilize the integrated cable management channels along the arm and the included cable clips to route and secure all cables.
