Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Dzees Security Camera:

1. Charge the Camera: Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable and a 5V/1A power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will turn off when fully charged.
2. Download the Dzees Home App: Search for "Dzees Home" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download the application.
3. Create an Account: Open the Dzees Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account or log in if you already have one.
4. Add Device:
   • Tap the "+" icon in the app to add a new device.
   • Select your camera model (CG6) from the list.
   • Power on the camera. The camera's indicator light will flash blue, indicating it's ready for pairing.
   • Scan the QR code on the camera using your phone's camera within the app.
   • Connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network.
   • The camera will connect to the Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can name your camera and complete the setup.
5. Install Micro SD Card (Optional): If you wish to use local storage, insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, Class 10 or higher) into the camera's SD card slot. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
6. Mount the Camera:
   • Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring good Wi-Fi signal strength and a clear view of the area you want to monitor.
   • Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes.
   • Drill holes, insert wall anchors (if necessary), and secure the mounting bracket with screws.
   • Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle for optimal coverage.

Operating Instructions

Once your camera is set up, you can begin monitoring and managing it through the Dzees Home app.

Live View:

• Open the Dzees Home app.
• Tap on your camera's name to access the live feed.
• From the live view, you can:
  • Capture screenshots or record video manually.
  • Activate two-way audio to speak through the camera.
  • Turn on/off the siren or spotlight.
  • Switch between SD and HD video quality.

Motion Detection & Alerts:

• The camera uses PIR motion detection to identify movement.
• When motion is detected, you will receive push notifications on your smartphone.
