6. Troubleshooting
- No Sound/Microphone Not Working:
Ensure the headset is powered on and properly connected (either via dongle or Bluetooth). Check your computer's sound settings to confirm the EPOS Adapt 260 is selected as the default input/output device. Verify the microphone is not muted. - Connection Issues (Dongle):
If the dongle connection is unstable, try unplugging and re-inserting the USB-A dongle. Ensure the headset is within range (up to 10 meters). Restarting your computer or the headset may resolve temporary issues. - Bluetooth Pairing Failure:
Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (flashing red and blue LED). Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth. If issues persist, try deleting the headset from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pairing. - Headset Powers Off Unexpectedly:
Check the battery level. If the headset is not in use for an extended period, it may enter an auto power-off state to conserve battery. - Poor Audio Quality:
Ensure there are no obstructions between the headset and the connected device. Move closer to the device if experiencing interference. Check for other active Bluetooth devices that might cause interference.
