Setup

Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the YAPOY Cordless Hair Straightener.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, power bank, car charger, or wall adapter) that provides no more than 6V.
3. The indicator light will illuminate during charging. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable. The device is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Preparing Your Hair

• Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and fully detangled before using the straightener.

Powering On and Temperature Selection

1. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn on the device.
2. The device will default to a temperature setting. Press the power button briefly to cycle between the two available temperature levels:
• L (Low): 170°C (338°F) - Suitable for softer or finer hair types.
• H (High): 190°C (374°F) - Suitable for harder or thicker hair types.
3. Allow approximately one minute for the device to reach the selected temperature.

Straightening Your Hair

1. Take a small section of hair.
2. Place the hair straightener such that your hair is fully inside the inner plates of the comb, ensuring it is not on the outside U-shape frame.
3. Slowly slide the hair straightener from the roots to the ends of your hair.
4. Hold the straightener in place for 2-3 seconds per section, but not more than 5 seconds, to achieve the desired effect.
5. Repeat for all sections of hair until desired style is achieved.

Powering Off
