Setup

Operation

  1. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. A buzzer will beep, indicating it's ready for measurement.
  2. Positioning: Gently insert the temperature sensor head approximately 5cm into the animal's anus. The flexible tip is designed for comfort and ease of use.
  3. Measurement: Hold the thermometer steady. The display will show the temperature reading. When the buzzer continues to beep, the temperature measurement is complete.
  4. Read Result: Carefully remove the thermometer and view the temperature measurement results on the LED display.
  5. Power Off: After measurement, press the power button to turn off the device. If no operation occurs within 10 minutes, the thermometer will automatically shut down to conserve battery.
  6. Memory Function: The thermometer automatically recalls the last recorded temperature when powered on.
  7. Unit Conversion (℃/℉): In the shutdown state, press and hold the power button until the upper right corner of the screen displays either ℃ or ℉ to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

  • "HI" Display: If the display shows "HI", it indicates that the measured temperature is higher than 42.9℃ (109.2℉). This is not a thermometer fault.
  • No Power/Dim Display: Check the battery. Replace if necessary.
  • Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the sensor head is properly inserted and held steady during measurement. Clean the sensor head thoroughly.
