This turntable combines classic vinyl playback with modern connectivity, featuring 3-speed record playback, Bluetooth streaming, USB recording and playback, AUX IN, and RCA output. Enjoy your music collection with superior sound quality.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before operating the unit.
  • Keep the unit away from water, moisture, and direct sunlight.
  • Do not place the unit near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Key components include:

  • Platter: Where records are placed.

5. Setup

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the turntable from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Remove Protective Materials: Remove any protective cardboard or plastic from the tonearm and platter.
  3. Placement: Place the turntable on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibration.
  4. Connect Power: Insert the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  5. Lid: The lid can be opened to protect the platter and tonearm when not in use, or closed during playback to reduce dust accumulation.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Playing Vinyl Records

  1. Power On: Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn on the unit.
  2. Select Phono Mode: Set the Function Selector to 'PHONO'.
  3. Select Speed: Choose the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the Speed Selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
  4. Place Record: Carefully place a vinyl record on the platter.
  5. Auto Stop: Set the Auto Stop switch to 'ON' for the platter to stop automatically at the end of the record, or 'OFF' for continuous rotation.
  6. Position Tonearm: Gently lift the tonearm using the cue lever. Move the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
  7. Lower Tonearm: Slowly lower the tonearm onto the record using the cue lever. The music will begin to play.
  8. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the Power/Volume knob.
  9. End of Playback: At the end of the record (if Auto Stop is ON), the platter will stop. If Auto Stop is OFF, manually lift the tonearm and return it to the tonearm rest.

6.2 Bluetooth Connection

You can stream audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop) to the turntable's speakers.

  1. Power On: Ensure the turntable is powered on.
  2. Select Bluetooth Mode: Set the Function Selector to 'BT' (Bluetooth). The unit will emit a pairing sound and the Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on Device: On your external Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Pair: Select 'MUSE MT-201BTG' from the list of devices. Once paired, the turntable will emit a confirmation sound and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.
  5. Play Audio: You can now play audio from your device through the turntable's speakers.

6.3 USB Playback and Encoding

The USB port allows for playback of MP3 files from a USB flash drive and recording of vinyl records directly to a USB flash drive.

USB Playback:
  1. Insert USB Drive: Insert a USB flash drive (FAT32 format) into the USB port.
  2. Select USB Mode: Set the Function Selector to 'USB'. The unit will automatically begin playing compatible audio files.
  3. Controls: Use the control buttons (if available on the unit, otherwise control from the USB drive's file structure) to navigate tracks.
USB Encoding (Recording Vinyl):
  1. Prepare for Playback: Set up your vinyl record for playback as described in section 6.1.
  2. Insert USB Drive: Ensure a USB flash drive is inserted into the USB port.
  3. Start Recording: While the record is playing, press the 'REC' button (if available, or follow specific instructions for your model's recording function). The unit will begin recording the audio to the USB drive.
  4. Stop Recording: Press the 'REC' button again to stop recording. The recorded audio file will be saved on the USB drive.

6.4 AUX IN Connection

Connect external audio devices (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the turntable using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

  1. Connect Cable: Plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX IN jack on the turntable and the other end into the headphone or line-out jack of your external device.
  2. Select AUX Mode: Set the Function Selector to 'AUX'.
  3. Play Audio: Start playback on your external device. The audio will be played through the turntable's speakers.

6.5 RCA Output

Connect the turntable to an external amplifier or powered speakers for enhanced audio output.

  1. Connect RCA Cables: Connect RCA cables (not included) from the RCA Output jacks on the back of the turntable to the corresponding audio input jacks on your amplifier or powered speakers. Ensure correct left (white) and right (red) channel connections.
  2. Select Input: On your amplifier or speakers, select the input source corresponding to where you connected the turntable.
  3. Play Audio: Play a record or other audio source on the turntable. The sound will now be routed through your external audio system.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Unit

  • Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the surface.
  • Keep the lid closed when not in use to prevent dust accumulation.

7.2 Stylus Care and Replacement

  • The stylus is a delicate component. Avoid touching it with your fingers.
  • Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
  • A stylus typically lasts for about 300-500 hours of playback. If you notice a decrease in sound quality or skipping, it may be time to replace the stylus.
  • To replace the stylus, carefully remove the old one by pulling it downwards and forwards. Insert the new stylus (an extra one is included) by pushing it upwards and backwards until it clicks into place.

7.3 Record Cleaning

  • Always handle records by their edges or the label.
  • Clean records regularly with a dedicated record cleaning brush or cloth to remove dust and debris before playing.
