Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the long lifespan and optimal performance of your LiFePO4 battery.
1. Regular Recharging
For long-term storage, it is recommended to recharge the battery every 3 months to maintain its health and prevent deep discharge.
2. Storage Temperature
Store the battery at a temperature between -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F). For long-term storage, a temperature between 15°C to 35°C (59°F to 95°F) is ideal.
3. Anti-Swelling Fixture
The battery is designed with an internal anti-swelling fixture. This fixture provides a stable, inward force that prevents the cells from expanding due to overcharging, aging, or high temperature, thereby greatly improving the battery's performance and prolonging its cycle life.
Troubleshooting
The built-in Battery Management System (BMS) protects the battery from various issues. If the battery is not functioning as expected, check the following:
- Over-Current Protection: The BMS will limit continuous charge/discharge current to 100A. If the load exceeds this, the battery may temporarily shut down. Reduce the load or connect batteries in parallel to increase the available current.
- Over-Charge Protection: The BMS prevents overcharging. Ensure your charger's voltage settings are appropriate for LiFePO4 batteries (typically 14.2V-14.6V).
- Over-Discharge Protection: The BMS prevents deep discharge. If the battery voltage drops too low, the BMS will disconnect the load. Recharge the battery promptly.
- Short Circuit Protection: The BMS will immediately cut off power in case of a short circuit. Verify all connections are secure and free from damage.
- Thermal Protection: The BMS monitors battery temperature. It will prevent charging below 0°C (32°F) and may limit discharge at extreme temperatures to protect the cells.

Safety Information
- Always put on the insulating covers on the post bolts to avoid metal or other objects touching the positive and negative terminals of the battery at the same time.
- Install the battery upright with post bolts facing up. It could not be mounted upside down.
- Tightly screw in the post bolts. Having loose battery terminals will cause the terminals to build up heat, resulting in damage to the battery.
- This battery is not intended to be used to start any devices. DO NOT use it as a starting battery.
- Keep out of reach of children.
