3. Setup
- Battery Installation: The TP510 comes with one AAA battery. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device, open it, insert the AAA battery ensuring correct polarity (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
- Attaching the Pot Clip: Slide the stainless steel pot clip onto the thermometer probe. Adjust its position along the probe to ensure the probe tip is immersed in the food without touching the bottom of the pot.
- Initial Power On: Press the ON/OFF/°C/°F button to power on the thermometer. The display will light up.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Measurement
- Insert the stainless steel probe tip into the thickest part of the food or liquid, avoiding bone or gristle.
- The temperature reading will appear on the digital display within 4-5 seconds.
- For continuous monitoring in a pot, use the included pot clip to secure the thermometer.
4.2 Temperature Unit Conversion (°C/°F)
Press the ON/OFF/°C/°F button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
4.3 Backlight Function
The display features a backlight for easy reading in dimly lit conditions. The backlight will automatically activate when the thermometer is in use and will turn off after a short period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
4.4 90° Adjustable Head
The thermometer head can be rotated up to 90 degrees, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle for optimal readability without needing to reposition the probe or your body.

4.5 Auto-Off Feature

5. Maintenance & Care
- Cleaning: The ThermoPro TP510 is IPX5 waterproof. Clean the probe and thermometer body by rinsing under running water with mild soap. Do not immerse the entire unit in water for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the thermometer in a dry place at room temperature. Ensure the probe is clean and dry before storage.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA battery when the display becomes dim or the thermometer fails to power on.
- Do Not Disassemble: Do not attempt to disassemble the unit, as this may void the warranty and cause damage.

6. Troubleshooting
- No Display/Dim Display: Replace the AAA battery. Ensure the battery is inserted with correct polarity.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the probe tip is inserted into the thickest part of the food and not touching bone, gristle, or the bottom/sides of the cooking vessel. Calibrate the thermometer if necessary (refer to specific calibration instructions if provided with your model, or contact customer support).
- Slow Readings: Ensure the probe is fully inserted into the food. If the battery is low, replace it.
- Thermometer Not Turning On: Check battery installation. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
