3. Getting Started (Setup)

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the flat iron from its packaging.
2. Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Placement: Place the flat iron on a heat-resistant surface during use.
4. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a suitable electrical outlet (110V-240V).

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

• To turn on, press and hold the power button (usually marked with a circle or power symbol) until the digital display illuminates.
• To turn off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

Adjusting Temperature:

2. Divide hair into small, manageable sections.
3. Starting from the roots, gently clamp a section of hair between the plates.
4. Smoothly glide the flat iron down the hair section to the ends. Avoid holding the iron in one place for too long.
5. Repeat on all sections until desired style is achieved.

Automatic Shut-off:

For safety, the CROC Infrared Flat Iron will automatically turn off after approximately 30 minutes of inactivity. To resume use, turn the appliance off and then on again.

• Cleaning: Ensure the flat iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
• Storage: Store the cooled flat iron in a dry, safe place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. The 9-foot swivel cord is designed for durability and flexibility.
