2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Components
Before beginning, ensure all components are present:
- Moultrie A-900 Game Camera
- Heavy-duty Camera Strap

2.2 Battery Installation
- Open the camera housing latch.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

2.3 SD Card Insertion
- With the camera housing open, locate the SD card slot.
- Insert the 16GB SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
- To remove, press the card gently to release it.

2.5 Initial Power-On

3.1 Basic Operation Modes
The A-900 camera offers several capture options:
- Photo Mode: Captures still images.
- Video Mode: Records 1280x720 HD video clips.
- Photo + Video Mode: Captures a still image followed by a video clip.

3.2 Capture Options
Within Photo Mode, you can configure the number of photos taken per trigger event:
- 1 Photo: Takes a single image per trigger.
- 3 Photos: Takes three consecutive images per trigger.
