5. Setup
5.1. Battery Charging and Installation
- Connect the fast charger to a power outlet.
- Insert the 20V 1.5Ah lithium-ion battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
- Align the charged battery with the battery slot on the saw handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

5.2. Blade Installation/Replacement
Always disconnect the battery before installing or replacing the blade.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button.
- Use the included Allen wrench to loosen the blade bolt.
- Remove the outer flange and the old blade.
- Place the new 5-1/2 inch blade onto the spindle, ensuring the teeth direction matches the arrow on the saw guard.
- Reinstall the outer flange and tighten the blade bolt securely with the Allen wrench while holding the spindle lock button.

6. Operation
6.1. Adjusting Cutting Depth
- Loosen the depth clamp button.
- Adjust the base plate to the desired cutting depth. Ensure the blade extends slightly below the material being cut.
- Tighten the depth clamp button firmly.
6.2. Adjusting Bevel Angle
- Loosen the adjustable bevel lever.
- Tilt the base plate to the desired angle (0-45°).
- Tighten the adjustable bevel lever securely.

6.3. Making a Cut
- Ensure the material is securely clamped.
- Hold the saw firmly with both hands.
- Press the safety lock-off button and then squeeze the trigger to start the saw.
- Allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.
- Guide the saw smoothly along the cutting line, applying steady, even pressure. Do not force the saw.
- Release the trigger and allow the blade to stop completely before setting the saw down.
