Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove the stopwatch from its packaging. Ensure all components are present:
- LEAP Professional Stopwatch (Model TSC2810)
- Lanyard (46 inches)
- LR44 Battery (pre-installed or included)
2. Battery Installation (if not pre-installed)
The stopwatch uses one LR44 battery. If the display is blank or dim, you may need to install or replace the battery.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the stopwatch.
- Use a small screwdriver to open the battery cover.
- Insert the LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Securely close the battery cover.

Note: While some visuals may show CR2032, product specifications for this model list LR44. Please use the battery type specified in your product's packaging or the LR44 as per the specifications.
3. Attaching the Lanyard
Thread the included lanyard through the loop at the top of the stopwatch for convenient carrying around your neck or wrist.
Operating Instructions
The LEAP stopwatch features four main buttons: LAP/SPLIT/RESET (top left), RECALL (top middle), START/STOP (top right), and MODE (bottom right).
1. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press the MODE button (bottom right).
- To Power Off: While in time display mode (not actively timing), press and hold the LAP/SPLIT/RESET and START/STOP buttons simultaneously until the display turns off. Ensure all data is cleared before powering off, as stored times may be lost.
2. Mode Selection
Press the MODE button to cycle through the different functions:
- Stopwatch Mode: For timing events.
- Timer Mode: For countdown functions (if available on your specific model).
- Time Display Mode: Shows current time.
3. Stopwatch Function
In Stopwatch Mode:
- Press START/STOP to begin timing.
- Press LAP/SPLIT/RESET to record a lap or split time. The display will show the split time while the main timer continues running.
- Press START/STOP again to pause the timer.
- Press START/STOP to resume timing.
- To reset the stopwatch after stopping, press LAP/SPLIT/RESET.

4. Recalling Lap/Split Times
The stopwatch can store up to 10 lap/split times.
- While the stopwatch is running or stopped, press the RECALL button to view stored lap/split times.
- Use the LAP/SPLIT/RESET and START/STOP buttons to navigate through the stored records.
- Press RECALL again to exit recall mode.
Note: Once 10 memories are used, new lap/split times may not be stored, or older ones may be overwritten depending on the specific model's memory management. It is recommended to record important times externally.
5. Setting Time and Date
In Time Display Mode:
- Press and hold the MODE button until the time digits begin to flash.
- Use LAP/SPLIT/RESET to adjust the value and START/STOP to move to the next setting (hours, minutes, seconds, date, month, year).
- Press MODE again to confirm and exit setting mode.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the stopwatch with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
2. Water Resistance
The stopwatch is designed to be water resistant against splashes and light rain. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or exposed to strong jets of water. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids.

3. Storage
Store the stopwatch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Prolonged exposure to high or low temperatures can affect battery life and device performance.
4. Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, it's time to replace the LR44 battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
Troubleshooting
