This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new stopwatch, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. This model, the TSC2810, features a large digital display, 10-lap split memory, and water resistance, making it ideal for various sports and timing needs.

The LEAP Professional Stopwatch (Model TSC2810) is designed for accurate timing in sports, games, and other activities requiring precise measurement. Key features include:

Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the stopwatch from its packaging. Ensure all components are present:

2. Battery Installation (if not pre-installed)

The stopwatch uses one LR44 battery. If the display is blank or dim, you may need to install or replace the battery.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the stopwatch.
  2. Use a small screwdriver to open the battery cover.
  3. Insert the LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Securely close the battery cover.

Note: While some visuals may show CR2032, product specifications for this model list LR44. Please use the battery type specified in your product's packaging or the LR44 as per the specifications.

3. Attaching the Lanyard

Thread the included lanyard through the loop at the top of the stopwatch for convenient carrying around your neck or wrist.

Operating Instructions

The LEAP stopwatch features four main buttons: LAP/SPLIT/RESET (top left), RECALL (top middle), START/STOP (top right), and MODE (bottom right).

4. Recalling Lap/Split Times

The stopwatch can store up to 10 lap/split times.

Note: Once 10 memories are used, new lap/split times may not be stored, or older ones may be overwritten depending on the specific model's memory management. It is recommended to record important times externally.

5. Setting Time and Date

In Time Display Mode:

  1. Press and hold the MODE button until the time digits begin to flash.
  2. Use LAP/SPLIT/RESET to adjust the value and START/STOP to move to the next setting (hours, minutes, seconds, date, month, year).
  3. Press MODE again to confirm and exit setting mode.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the stopwatch with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.

2. Water Resistance

The stopwatch is designed to be water resistant against splashes and light rain. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or exposed to strong jets of water. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids.

3. Storage

Store the stopwatch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Prolonged exposure to high or low temperatures can affect battery life and device performance.

4. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, it's time to replace the LR44 battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.

Troubleshooting

LEAP provides a Lifetime Warranty service for this stopwatch. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and issues arising from normal use.

Note: The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or battery replacement. Avoid contact with corrosive objects and prolonged use under excessive temperature or low temperature, as the battery is not covered by the warranty under these conditions.
