Setup Instructions

  1. Positioning the Unit: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface near a window. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
  2. Connecting the Exhaust Hose: Screw the exhaust hose connector onto the air outlet on the back of the unit. Extend the hose and attach the window outlet adapter to the other end.
  3. Installing the Window Kit: Open the window and place the window kit between the window frame and the window sash. Adjust the kit to fit securely, ensuring the opening aligns with the exhaust hose adapter.
  4. Connecting to Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

The control panel on top of the unit allows you to select modes, adjust temperature, and set the timer. The remote control provides the same functionalities from a distance.

Operating Modes

  • Cooling Mode: Select the cooling mode (snowflake icon) to lower the room temperature. Adjust the desired temperature using the up/down arrows. The unit will cool until the set temperature is reached.
  • Fan Mode: Select the fan mode (fan icon) to circulate air without cooling. You can choose between multiple fan speeds (low, medium, high) to suit your preference.
  • Dehumidification Mode: Select the dehumidification mode (water drop icon) to reduce humidity in the room. In this mode, the unit will extract moisture from the air.

Timer Function

The 24-hour timer allows you to program the unit to turn on or off automatically. Press the timer button and use the up/down arrows to set the desired time interval.

Maintenance

  • Air Filter Cleaning: Regularly clean the air filter (located at the back or side of the unit) to maintain optimal performance. Remove the filter, wash it with lukewarm water and mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
  • Draining Condensate: In high humidity conditions, the unit may accumulate condensate. Refer to the manual for instructions on how to drain the water reservoir or connect a continuous drainage hose.
