3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your Inscabin C1 radio.
3.1 Front Panel and Display

4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
- Insert the DC plug of the provided power adapter into the DC IN port on the rear of the Inscabin C1.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The unit will power on automatically or enter standby mode.
4.2 Antenna Adjustment
For best radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for optimal signal strength.
4.3 Initial Setup (First Use)
Upon first power-on, the unit may automatically perform a full scan for DAB/DAB+ stations and set the time. If not, follow these steps:
- Language Selection: Use the rotary knob to select your preferred language (e.g., English) and press ENTER to confirm.
- DAB Scan: The radio will typically initiate a full scan for DAB/DAB+ stations. Allow this process to complete. The display will show the progress and the number of stations found.
- Time Synchronization: The time and date will usually synchronize automatically via DAB or FM signal. If manual adjustment is needed, refer to Section 5.3.1.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power Button (circle with line) on the top panel to turn the unit on or off.
5.2 Radio Modes (DAB/DAB+, FM)
Press the Source Button (S) to switch between DAB and FM radio modes.
5.2.1 DAB/DAB+ Radio Operation
- Ensure the unit is in DAB mode.
- Full Scan: To find all available DAB/DAB+ stations, press the SCAN Button. The radio will scan and store all found stations.
- Station Selection: Use the SKIP Buttons (< / >) or rotate the Rotary Knob to browse through the available stations. Press ENTER or the Rotary Knob to select a station.
- Information Display: Press the MENU/INFO Button repeatedly to cycle through various information such as program type, signal strength, bit rate, and date/time.
5.2.2 FM Radio Operation
- Ensure the unit is in FM mode.
- Auto Scan: Press the SCAN Button to automatically scan and store strong FM stations.
- Manual Tuning: Rotate the Rotary Knob to manually tune to a specific frequency.
- Information Display: Press the MENU/INFO Button repeatedly to cycle through information such as RDS (Radio Data System) data.
5.2.3 Saving and Recalling Presets
You can save your favorite DAB/DAB+ or FM stations as presets for quick access.
- To Save:
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press and hold the PRESET Button until "Preset Store" appears on the display.
- Use the Rotary Knob or SKIP Buttons to select a preset number (e.g., P1, P2).
- Press ENTER or the Rotary Knob to confirm and save the station.
- To Recall:
- Press the PRESET Button briefly. "Preset Recall" will appear.
- Use the Rotary Knob or SKIP Buttons to select the desired preset number.
- Press ENTER or the Rotary Knob to tune to the saved station.
5.3 Bluetooth Mode
The Inscabin C1 can function as a wireless speaker via Bluetooth.
- Press the Source Button (S) until "Bluetooth" mode is selected. The display will show "Pairing" or "Waiting for connection".
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Inscabin C1" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the display will indicate a successful connection. You can now play audio from your device through the Inscabin C1.
5.4 Clock and Alarm Functions
5.4.1 Setting Time and Date
The time and date are usually set automatically via DAB/FM signal. If manual adjustment is required:
- In standby mode, press and hold the MENU/INFO Button to enter the main menu.
- Navigate to "System Settings" using the Rotary Knob or SKIP Buttons, then press ENTER.
- Select "Time/Date" and press ENTER.
- Choose "Set Time/Date" or "Auto Update" (if available).
- If setting manually, use the Rotary Knob to adjust values (hour, minute, day, month, year) and ENTER to move to the next field.
5.4.2 Setting Alarms
The Inscabin C1 supports two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- In standby mode or while powered on, press and hold the MENU/INFO Button to enter the main menu.
- Navigate to "Alarms" and press ENTER.
- Select "Alarm 1 Setup" or "Alarm 2 Setup" and press ENTER.
- Configure the following settings for each alarm:
- Enable: On/Off
- Time: Set the desired alarm time.
- Mode: Select alarm source (Buzzer, DAB, FM).
- Frequency: Daily, Weekdays, Weekends, Once.
- Volume: Set the alarm volume.
- Press ENTER to save the alarm settings.
5.4.3 Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press any button (except Power) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a set interval (e.g., 9 minutes). Press the Power Button to cancel the alarm completely.
5.4.4 Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.
- Press and hold the MENU/INFO Button to enter the main menu.
- Navigate to "Sleep" and press ENTER.
- Use the Rotary Knob to select the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes, or Off).
- Press ENTER to confirm.
5.5 Display Brightness
To adjust the display brightness:
- In standby mode, press the MENU/INFO Button briefly.
- Use the Rotary Knob or SKIP Buttons to cycle through brightness levels (e.g., High, Medium, Low).
- The display will adjust immediately.
Note: Some users may find even the lowest brightness setting to be quite bright in a dark room due to the large display size.
5.6 Sound Settings (Equalizer)
The unit may feature an equalizer to adjust sound profiles.
- Press and hold the MENU/INFO Button to enter the main menu.
- Navigate to "System Settings" and press ENTER.
- Look for "Equalizer" or "Sound" options and press ENTER.
- Select from available presets (e.g., Normal, Flat, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Pop, My EQ) or customize "My EQ" if available.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
