5. Setup Guide

6. Insert an Eyepiece: Insert either the K20mm or K9mm eyepiece into the diagonal mirror. Secure it with the thumbscrew on the diagonal.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Using the Finder Scope

The finder scope helps you locate objects before viewing them through the main telescope. To align it:

1. Point the main telescope at a distant, easily identifiable object (e.g., a tree or building) during daylight hours.
2. Look through the main telescope's eyepiece and center the object.
3. Now, look through the finder scope. Use the adjustment screws on the finder scope bracket to move its crosshairs until they are centered on the same object.

6.2. Focusing

Once an object is centered in your eyepiece, slowly turn the focuser knob until the image appears sharp and clear. Fine-tune the focus for optimal viewing.

6.3. Changing Eyepieces

To change magnification, loosen the thumbscrew on the diagonal mirror, carefully remove the current eyepiece, and insert another. Re-tighten the thumbscrew. The K20mm eyepiece provides 30x magnification, while the K9mm eyepiece provides 66x magnification.

6.4. Using the Mobile Phone Adapter

The customized mobile phone adapter allows you to capture images and videos through the telescope. It has two specific positions for the K20mm and K9mm eyepieces.

1. Attach the phone adapter to the chosen eyepiece, ensuring it aligns with the correct marking (K20 or K9).
2. Secure your smartphone onto the adapter, aligning your phone's camera with the eyepiece.
3. Open your phone's camera app and adjust the position until the telescope's view fills the screen.
