1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Kiwi KSD-9928 Automatic Foam Machine. This device is designed to dispense foamed liquid soap automatically, providing a hygienic and convenient handwashing experience. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Instructions

• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• Keep the device away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed to prevent water ingress.
• Use only the specified battery type and ensure correct polarity during installation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the main unit.
2. Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery cover.
3. Insert 4 x AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
4. Securely close the battery cover with the screwdriver to ensure a splash-proof seal.

4.2. Filling the Soap Dispenser

1. Open the top lid of the foam machine.
2. Remove the 250 ml mixing bottle from the main unit.
3. Pour liquid soap into the mixing bottle. The machine can produce foam with any brand of liquid soap. For optimal foam, you may need to dilute concentrated liquid soap with water. A common ratio is 1 part soap to 2-3 parts water, but this may vary depending on the soap's concentration.
4. Gently shake the mixing bottle to combine the soap and water (if diluted).
5. Insert the filled mixing bottle back into the main unit and close the top lid securely. The lid is designed to be splash-proof.

5. Operating Instructions

The Kiwi KSD-9928 Automatic Foam Machine features a touchless operation for enhanced hygiene.

1. Ensure the device is placed on a stable, flat surface.
2. Wave your hand under the sensor located at the front of the dispenser.
3. The machine will automatically dispense a measured amount of foam.
4. A low battery warning light will illuminate when the batteries need to be replaced.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not rinse the main unit directly under water.
• If the nozzle becomes clogged, gently clean it with a small brush or cotton swab.

6.2. Refilling Soap

When the soap level is low (visible through the transparent window), follow the steps in Section 4.2 to refill the mixing bottle.

6.3. Battery Replacement

When the low battery warning light illuminates, replace all 4 x AAA batteries following the steps in Section 4.1.

7. Troubleshooting

• Device not dispensing foam:
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure there is enough liquid soap in the mixing bottle.
  • Verify that the sensor area is clean and unobstructed.
  • Check if the soap is too thick. Dilute with water if needed.
• Weak or inconsistent foam:
  • The soap-to-water ratio might be incorrect. Adjust the dilution.
  • The nozzle might be partially clogged. Clean it as described in Section 6.1.
• Leaking from the device:
  • Ensure the mixing bottle is properly seated and the top lid is securely closed.
  • Check the battery compartment cover for a tight seal.
  • Avoid overfilling the mixing bottle beyond the 'Max' line.
