4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

The Cirbic H21 watch is powered by a standard watch battery. When the voice function becomes weak or the watch stops working, it's time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have a professional watch technician replace the battery to avoid damaging the watch's internal components or compromising its water resistance.

4.2 Water Resistance

This watch has a water resistance depth of 100 meters. It is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. However, it is not recommended for swimming, diving, or prolonged water activities. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is wet to prevent water ingress.

4.3 General Care

  • Clean the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields.

5. Troubleshooting: Hands Alignment

If the analog hands of your watch do not match the announced time, or after a battery replacement, you may need to perform a hands alignment. This process synchronizes the physical hands with the internal talking time.

  1. Check Current Time: Press the top-right button (2 o'clock position) once to hear the current talking time. Note this time.
  2. Pull Out Crown: Gently pull out the crown (the middle knob on the side) to stop the watch hands.
  3. Align Hands to 12 o'clock: Turn the crown to manually adjust the hour and minute hands so that both point directly at the 12 o'clock position.
  4. Push In Crown: Once both hands are at 12 o'clock, push the crown back in. The watch hands will start moving again.
  5. Synchronize Talking Time: Press and hold the top-right button (2 o'clock position) for approximately 5 seconds. The watch hands will spin rapidly to catch up and synchronize with the internal talking time. This may take some time.
  6. Verify Alignment: Once the hands stop spinning and the watch resumes normal running, press the top-right button (2 o'clock position) to confirm that the analog time now matches the announced time.
