4. Operating Instructions
General Operation
- After assembling the grinder and adding ingredients, plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Press and hold the power button or switch to start grinding. Release to stop.
- For optimal results and to prevent overheating, use the pulse method: grind in short bursts (5-10 seconds) and allow a brief pause between pulses.
- Do not operate continuously for more than 2 minutes. Allow the motor to cool down for at least 5 minutes after two consecutive cycles.
- Once grinding is complete, unplug the appliance, wait for the blades to stop completely, then carefully unlock and remove the lid and jar.
Wet Grinding
For wet grinding tasks such as making chutneys or pastes:
- Ensure ingredients are cut into small, manageable pieces.
- Add a small amount of water or other liquid as needed to achieve the desired consistency. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Use short pulses to gradually break down ingredients, adding more liquid if necessary.
Dry Grinding
For dry grinding tasks such as grinding spices or coffee beans:
- Ensure ingredients are completely dry. Moisture can affect grinding performance and damage the appliance.
- For fine powders, grind in short bursts and allow the powder to settle between pulses.
- Sieve the ground material if a very fine consistency is required, and re-grind any larger particles.
5. Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always unplug the grinder before cleaning.
- Remove the grinding jar and lid. Wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft brush or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots or rust.
- Wipe the motor unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the motor unit in water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
Storage
Store the grinder in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
