Setup

What's in the Box

Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your MX Anywhere 3 mouse. Connect the supplied USB-C to C charging cable to the USB-C port on the front of the mouse and to a power source (e.g., computer USB-C port or a USB-C wall adapter). A full charge can last up to 70 days. A 1-minute quick charge provides 3 hours of use.

Connecting to Your Device (Bluetooth)

  1. Ensure your mouse is charged and powered on. The power switch is located on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Press the Easy-Switch button on the bottom of the mouse to select a channel (1, 2, or 3). The LED indicator for the selected channel will blink rapidly, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  3. On your Mac or iPad, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth.
  4. Select "MX Anywhere 3 for Mac" from the list of available devices and click Connect.
  5. Once connected, the LED indicator on the mouse will glow solid for 5 seconds.

You can pair up to three devices and switch between them by pressing the Easy-Switch button on the bottom of the mouse.

Installing Logitech Options+ Software

To unlock the full potential of your MX Anywhere 3 mouse, including button customization, gesture controls, and application-specific settings, download and install the Logitech Options+ software from the official Logitech website. This software is compatible with macOS and Windows operating systems.

Operating

Customizable Buttons

Your MX Anywhere 3 mouse has several customizable buttons:

Use Logitech Options+ to assign specific functions or application-specific shortcuts to these buttons, such as for Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, or Google Chrome.

Track Anywhere - Even Glass

The Darkfield™ High Precision tracking allows the MX Anywhere 3 to track on virtually any surface, including glass (minimum 4mm thickness). This provides exceptional versatility, allowing you to work seamlessly on a desk, a cafe table, or even on your couch.

Logitech Flow (Multi-Computer Control)

If you have multiple computers (Windows or macOS), Logitech Flow enables you to seamlessly control them with a single MX Anywhere 3 mouse. Simply move your cursor to the edge of one screen, and it will automatically appear on the next. You can even transfer text, images, and files between computers by copying on one and pasting on the other. This feature requires Logitech Options+ software installed on all connected computers.
