3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the MD318 CD player.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator will illuminate. The device is fully charged when the indicator changes color or turns off (refer to the device's LED indicator for specific behavior).

The built-in 1800 mAh Li-ion battery provides extended playback time, allowing use without a constant power connection.

3.2 Initial Power On

The MD318 supports two Bluetooth modes: Receiver (RX) and Transmitter (TX).

4.2.1 Bluetooth Receiver (RX) Mode (Connect to Phone/Tablet)

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  2. Insert a CD or USB drive into the MD318.
  3. Press the 'MODE' button to select CD or USB mode.

4.3 FM Radio Mode

  1. Press the 'MODE' button to select FM radio mode. The LCD screen will display the FM frequency.
