4. Setup & Installation

Follow these steps carefully to install your M-Wave COLLECTOR P170 wall mount.

1. Choose Location: Select a suitable wall location that is structurally sound and has enough clear space for the bicycle when mounted and rotated. Consider the height to comfortably lift your bicycle onto the mount.
2. Mark Drilling Points for Main Mount: Hold the main wall bracket against the chosen location. Use a pencil to mark the positions for the mounting holes. Ensure the bracket is level.
3. Drill Holes for Main Mount: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type and the provided anchors/screws, drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
4. Secure Main Mount: Insert wall anchors (if required) into the drilled holes. Position the main wall bracket and secure it firmly to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is tightly fastened and stable.
5. Position Rear Wheel Support: Place your bicycle on the main mount. Mark the position on the wall where the rear wheel support should be installed to prevent the rear wheel from touching the wall. The support should be centered with the rear wheel.
6. Mark and Drill for Rear Wheel Support: Mark the drilling points for the rear wheel support. Drill pilot holes as done for the main mount.
7. Secure Rear Wheel Support: Attach the rear wheel support to the wall using the provided hardware.
8. Final Check: Gently test the stability of both the main mount and the rear wheel support. Ensure all screws are tight before hanging your bicycle.

5. Operating Instructions

Using your M-Wave COLLECTOR P170 wall mount is straightforward.

• Unfolding the Mount: If the mount is in its folded position, gently pull the arm outwards until it locks into the extended position.
• Mounting the Bicycle: Carefully lift your bicycle and place the top tube onto the main support arm. Ensure the bicycle is balanced and the rear wheel rests against the rear wheel support.
• Rotating the Bicycle: The main mount allows for a 170° rotation. To adjust the angle, gently push or pull the bicycle to the desired position. The rotation mechanism is designed to hold the bike securely at various angles.
• Folding the Mount (when not in use): To save space, remove the bicycle. Then, gently push the support arm upwards or inwards until it folds flat against the wall.
