5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Insert two (2) new AA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Initial Radio Signal Reception
After battery insertion, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF radio time signal. This process can take several minutes. During this time, the radio signal icon will flash. Once the signal is successfully received, the icon will appear solid, and the correct time, date, and day of the week will be displayed.
- For best reception, place the clock near a window and away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
- If the signal is not received within 10 minutes, press the WAVE button to initiate a manual search.
- If reception is consistently poor, you may need to manually set the time.
5.3 Placement
The clock can be placed on a flat surface using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall using the hanging hole on the back. Ensure the chosen location allows for optimal radio signal reception.
6. Operating
6.1 Manual Time and Date Setting
If the radio signal is unavailable or you prefer manual setting:
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately 3 seconds to enter setting mode. The digit to be set will flash.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the value.
- Press the MODE button again to confirm the setting and move to the next parameter (e.g., hours, minutes, year, month, day).
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired settings are configured.
- Press MODE one last time or wait for 15 seconds for the clock to exit setting mode automatically.
6.2 Time Zone Setting
To adjust for different time zones:
- In normal time display mode, press and hold the MODE button until the time zone offset flashes.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired time zone offset (e.g., +1 for one hour ahead, -1 for one hour behind).
- Press the MODE button to confirm and exit.
6.3 Day of the Week Language
The day of the week can be displayed in 8 different languages:
- In normal time display mode, press the DOWN button repeatedly.
- Cycle through the available languages until your preferred language is displayed.

- Press and hold the ALARM button for approximately 3 seconds. The alarm hour will flash.

- Press ALARM again to set the alarm minute, then adjust with UP or DOWN.
- Press ALARM one last time to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
To activate/deactivate the alarm:
- In normal time display mode, press the ALARM button briefly. The alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display, indicating its status.
Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press any button (except ALARM) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (duration may vary, typically 5-10 minutes).
