The Proscan PLT7775G tablet is equipped with Android 8.1 (Go Edition), providing a streamlined user experience. 3. Setup Guide
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your tablet. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the tablet's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
3.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button located on the side of the tablet until the Proscan logo appears on the screen.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until a power options menu appears. Select "Power off" and confirm.
- To Restart: From the power options menu, select "Restart" and confirm.
3.3 Connecting the Keyboard
The included keyboard connects to the tablet via a USB cable. Carefully insert the USB connector from the keyboard into the tablet's USB port. The tablet should automatically recognize the keyboard, and you can begin typing immediately.
3.4 Inserting a MicroSD Card (Optional)
To expand storage, locate the microSD card slot on the side of the tablet. Gently insert a microSD card (up to 32 GB, not included) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly as indicated by the slot's icon.
4. Operating Your Tablet
4.1 Touchscreen Navigation
- Tap: To select an item, open an app, or press a button.
- Tap & Hold: To access contextual menus or move icons.
- Swipe: To scroll through pages, lists, or switch between home screens.
- Pinch: To zoom in or out on photos and web pages.
4.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
- Toggle Wi-Fi On.
- Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the network password if prompted, then tap Connect.
4.3 Using the Camera
Tap the Camera icon on the home screen or in the app drawer to open the camera application. You can switch between photo and video modes. Tap the shutter button to capture an image or start/stop video recording. Captured media is saved to the tablet's gallery.
4.4 Audio Playback
The tablet features built-in speakers for audio playback. For private listening, connect headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack. Volume can be adjusted using the physical volume buttons on the tablet or through the on-screen volume controls.
4.5 App Management
- Downloading Apps: Use the pre-installed Google Play Store app to browse and download new applications.
- Uninstalling Apps: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications, select the app, then tap Uninstall.
- Closing Apps: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or tap the square navigation button) to view recent apps, then swipe an app card away to close it.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Your Tablet
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-specific cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture.
5.2 Battery Care
- Avoid exposing the tablet to extreme temperatures (hot or cold), as this can degrade battery life.
- Do not leave the tablet charging for extended periods after it is fully charged.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
5.3 Software Updates

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Tablet Will Not Turn On
