4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The Yuwell YHT101 thermometer is battery-powered. To install or replace batteries:

  3. Insert the thermometer probe gently into the ear canal until it fits snugly. Do not force it.

  5. The measurement will be completed in approximately one second, and the temperature will be displayed on the screen.
  6. A beep sound usually indicates the completion of the measurement.

5.2 Interpreting the Color-Coded Display

The YHT101 features a color-coded display to provide a quick visual indication of the temperature reading:
