- AC Adapter: Insert the DC plug into the DC power jack on the back of the machine. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Batteries: Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the machine. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover.
Note: Do not use both AC adapter and batteries simultaneously. Always remove batteries when using the AC adapter.
2. Winding the Bobbin
- Place an empty bobbin onto the bobbin winding pin.
- Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin.
- Guide the thread through the bobbin winding tension disc.
- Wind the thread clockwise a few times around the bobbin.
- Push the bobbin winding pin to the right.
- Turn on the machine (L or H speed). The bobbin will start winding.
- Once the bobbin is full, turn off the machine, cut the thread, and push the bobbin winding pin back to the left.
3. Inserting the Bobbin

- Lift the presser foot.
- Slide open the bobbin cover plate located on the needle plate.
- Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case, ensuring the thread unwinds in the correct direction (usually counter-clockwise).
- Pull the bobbin thread through the small slot in the bobbin case.
- Close the bobbin cover plate.
4. Threading the Upper Thread

- Raise the needle to its highest position using the handwheel.
- Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin.
- Guide the thread through the first thread guide.
- Pass the thread down through the tension discs.
- Guide the thread up and through the take-up lever from right to left.
- Thread the needle from front to back.
5. Bringing Up the Bobbin Thread
- Hold the upper thread lightly with your left hand.
- Turn the handwheel towards you (counter-clockwise) to lower the needle, then raise it again.
- The upper thread will catch the bobbin thread, forming a loop.
- Pull the loop to bring the bobbin thread up through the needle plate hole.
- Pull both threads (upper and bobbin) under the presser foot and towards the back of the machine.
Operating Instructions
1. Selecting a Stitch Pattern

Turn the Stitch Selector Dial to choose one of the 12 available stitch patterns. Refer to the diagram on the machine for stitch types.
- Stitches 1-4: Straight stitches (various lengths).
- Stitches 5-8: Zigzag stitches (various widths).
- Stitches 9-12: Decorative or utility stitches.
Caution: Always ensure the needle is in its highest position before changing the stitch pattern to prevent needle breakage.
2. Adjusting Thread Tension
The Thread Tension Dial controls the tightness of the upper thread. Adjust as needed for different fabrics and thread types. A balanced stitch will have both threads meeting evenly between the fabric layers.
- If the upper thread lies flat on the fabric surface, increase tension.
- If the bobbin thread lies flat on the fabric surface, decrease tension.
3. Starting to Sew
- Place the fabric under the presser foot.
- Lower the presser foot lever.
- Select your desired stitch pattern.
- Choose your sewing method:
- Foot Pedal: Connect the foot pedal to the machine. Press the pedal to start sewing and release to stop. The speed is controlled by the pressure applied to the pedal.
- Automatic Speed: Set the power switch to 'L' (low speed) or 'H' (high speed). The machine will sew continuously at the selected speed. To stop, set the switch to 'OFF'.
- Gently guide the fabric as it feeds through the machine. Do not pull or push the fabric forcefully.
4. Finishing a Seam
- When you reach the end of your seam, stop the machine.
- Raise the needle to its highest position.
- Raise the presser foot.
- Pull the fabric gently towards the back of the machine.
- Cut the threads using the built-in thread cutter or scissors, leaving approximately 15 cm of thread.
5. Integrated Lamp

The integrated lamp can be turned on or off independently using the dedicated light switch, providing additional illumination to your sewing area.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine.
1. Cleaning the Machine
- Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
- Use a soft brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area and feed dogs.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
2. Changing the Needle
- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- Raise the needle to its highest position.
- Loosen the needle clamp screw with a screwdriver.
- Remove the old needle.
- Insert a new needle with the flat side facing the back of the machine, pushing it up as far as it will go.
- Tighten the needle clamp screw securely.
Note: Use only standard sewing machine needles appropriate for your fabric type. A dull or bent needle can cause skipped stitches or fabric damage.
3. Accessory Drawer

The integrated accessory drawer provides convenient storage for bobbins, needles, and other small sewing essentials. Ensure it is closed securely during operation.
