3. Setup Guide
3.1. Initial Connection (Plug and Play)
The OOSSXX PoE system is designed for easy setup. Simply connect the cameras to the NVR using the provided LAN cables. The system will automatically detect and configure the cameras.
- Connect the NVR to a monitor using the HDMI or VGA cable.
- Connect the USB mouse to the NVR's USB port.
- Connect the NVR to a power source using the provided power adapter.
- Connect each camera to an available PoE port on the NVR using the LAN cables.
- The cameras will power on and automatically connect to the NVR, displaying live video on the connected monitor within seconds.

3.2. Camera Power Modes
The cameras support two power modes:
- Mode 1 (PoE): Power over Ethernet. The camera receives power directly through the LAN cable from the NVR. This is the primary and recommended method for distances up to 200 meters.
- Mode 2 (DC Power): If the PoE power distance is exceeded, or if you prefer, cameras can be powered by a separate DC 12V power adapter (not included for all cameras, check package contents).

3.3. Mobile App Setup
For remote viewing and control, download the free "Honestview" or "Eseecloud" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Open the app and register a new account using your email address.
- Verify your account using the code sent to your email.
- Set a password to complete registration.
- Log in with your new username and password.
- Tap "Add Smart Device" and scan the QR code displayed on your NVR's monitor (or manually enter the device ID).
- Name your camera, and the device addition is complete.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Recording Modes
The system supports various recording modes to suit your surveillance needs:
- Continuous Recording: Records 24/7, overwriting older data when the 2TB HDD is full (approximately 30 days of continuous recording).
- Scheduled Recording: Set specific times for recording.
- Motion Detection Recording: Records only when motion is detected. This mode is enhanced with AI human detection.

4.2. AI Human Detection
The system features advanced AI human detection, significantly reducing false alarms compared to traditional motion detection. It identifies human shapes and records only when a person is detected.
- When a person enters the camera's surveillance area, a red frame will appear around them, and recording will begin.
- Alerts (push notifications, email, siren) are triggered only by human movement, ignoring animals, vehicles, or swaying branches.

4.3. Audio Recording
Each camera is equipped with a built-in audio pickup, allowing simultaneous recording of sound within a 10-meter radius.

4.4. Night Vision
The cameras feature infrared LEDs for clear night vision. In low-light conditions, the system automatically switches to infrared mode, providing bright and clear monochrome images up to 20 meters.

4.5. Customizable Detection Area
You can define specific detection zones to focus on critical areas and exclude irrelevant ones, further reducing false alarms.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Camera Cleaning
Regularly clean the camera lenses to ensure clear image quality. Use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens coating.
5.2. Firmware Updates
Check the OOSSXX official website or your mobile app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your system updated ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
5.3. Hard Drive Management
The NVR includes a 2TB HDD. When the storage is full, the system automatically overwrites the oldest recordings. If you require longer retention, consider backing up important footage or upgrading the HDD (consult support for compatible upgrades).

6. Troubleshooting
6.1. No Video Display
- Ensure the NVR is powered on and connected to the monitor correctly (HDMI/VGA).
- Check if the cameras are properly connected to the NVR's PoE ports and receiving power.
- Verify that the LAN cables are not damaged.
6.2. No Remote Access via App
- Ensure the NVR is connected to your router via a LAN cable and has internet access.
- Verify your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
- Check if the "Honestview" or "Eseecloud" app is updated to the latest version.
- Confirm that the device ID is correctly added to the app.
6.3. Frequent False Alarms
- Adjust the AI human detection sensitivity settings in the NVR or app.
- Define specific detection zones to exclude areas with frequent non-human motion (e.g., trees, busy roads).
- Ensure cameras are mounted securely to prevent movement from wind.
6.4. Poor Night Vision
- Clean the camera lens to remove any dirt or smudges.
- Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the camera that could reflect infrared light.
