1. Introduction

The ARZOPA Portable Monitor S1 Table is a versatile 15.6-inch Full HD (1080P) IPS display designed to extend your screen real estate and enhance productivity or entertainment on the go. Its lightweight and slim profile, combined with broad compatibility, makes it an ideal solution for various devices and scenarios.

2. What's in the Box

Please check the contents of your package to ensure all items are present:

3. Setup Guide

The ARZOPA Portable Monitor is designed for plug-and-play convenience. No drivers or applications are typically required for basic functionality.

3.1 Connecting via USB-C (Full-Featured Port)

For devices with a full-featured USB-C port (supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode and Power Delivery), a single USB-C to USB-C cable can provide both video signal and power.

Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to the full-featured USB-C port on your device (e.g., laptop, smartphone).
Connect the other end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to either USB-C port (USB-C1 or USB-C2) on the ARZOPA monitor.
The monitor should automatically detect the signal and power on.

3.2 Connecting via Mini HDMI and USB-C (for Power)

For devices without a full-featured USB-C port, or for gaming consoles, you will need to use the Mini HDMI cable for video and a USB-C cable for power.

Connect one end of the provided Mini HDMI to HDMI cable to the Mini HDMI port on the ARZOPA monitor.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your device (e.g., laptop, gaming console).
Connect one end of the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to a power adapter (not included) or a powered USB-A port (using a USB-A to USB-C cable, not included) and the other end to either USB-C port on the ARZOPA monitor for power.
The monitor should power on and display the video signal.

Note: To ensure your Mac is compatible with Arzopa monitors, please make sure your Mac has a Thunderbolt 3/4 or HDMI port.

4. Operating the Monitor

4.1 Physical Controls

The monitor features several physical buttons for control and adjustment:

Power/Return Key: Press to power on/off. In OSD menu, press to go back.
Volume/Brightness Adjustment: Use to adjust volume or brightness.
OSD Menu Settings: Press to enter the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu for advanced settings.

4.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The OSD menu allows you to customize various display settings:

Brightness/Contrast: Adjust the display's luminance and contrast levels.
Color Settings: Modify color temperature, hue, and saturation.
Input Source: Manually select between USB-C and Mini HDMI inputs.
Audio: Control volume and mute status for the built-in speakers.
Aspect Ratio: Adjust the display's aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9, 4:3).
Language: Select the OSD menu language.
Reset: Restore all OSD settings to factory defaults.

4.3 Using the Smart Cover

The included smart cover protects the monitor and doubles as a stand, allowing for various viewing angles.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your ARZOPA Portable Monitor.

Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid using alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners.
Cleaning the Body: Wipe the monitor's body with a soft, dry cloth.
Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in its smart cover to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the monitor.
Handling: Always handle the monitor by its edges. Avoid applying pressure directly to the screen.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, please refer to the following common solutions:

Problem	Possible Solution
No Signal / Black Screen	Ensure all cables (USB-C or HDMI + Power) are securely connected. Verify your device's output settings (e.g., display mode: Extend, Duplicate). Try a different cable or port on your device. Ensure your device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode).
No Power	Check if the power cable is connected correctly to a sufficient power source. If using USB-C for power, ensure the source provides enough power (e.g., 5V/2A minimum). Try a different power adapter or USB port.
Image Flickering / Unstable Display	Ensure the power supply is stable and sufficient. Try reducing the display resolution or refresh rate on your connected device. Check for electromagnetic interference from other devices.
No Sound from Monitor Speakers	Increase the volume on the monitor using the physical buttons or OSD menu. Check your device's audio output settings to ensure sound is directed to the monitor. Ensure the cable used supports audio transmission (both USB-C and HDMI do).
