2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Blade Assembly
Follow these steps to safely assemble the blades:
- Ensure the electric knife is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Carefully remove the desired blade set from its storage case.
- Align the two blade sections. One blade has a small pin, and the other has a corresponding hole. Slide them together until they interlock.
- Insert the assembled blade set into the opening on the front of the motor unit until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the blade is firmly seated.

5. Operating Instructions
To operate your Tristar EM-2107 Electric Knife:
- After assembling the blades, plug the electric knife into a suitable power outlet.
- Hold the knife firmly by the ergonomic handle.
- Place the blade against the item you wish to cut (e.g., bread, roasted meat, frozen food).
- Press and hold the power button to activate the blades.
- Guide the knife through the food with a gentle sawing motion. Do not apply excessive pressure; allow the blades to do the work.
- Release the power button to stop the blades.
- After use, unplug the knife from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

- Blade Removal: Ensure the knife is unplugged. Press the blade release button and carefully pull the blades out from the motor unit.
- Blade Cleaning: Separate the two blade sections. Wash the blades by hand with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent rust. Store them in the provided storage case.
- Motor Unit Cleaning: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the electric knife with blades removed and safely stored in their case, away from children.
