4. Setup Instructions
- Insert into Car Socket: Plug the Craig CBT3348A into your vehicle's 12V/24V cigarette lighter socket. The LED display will light up, showing the current FM frequency.
- Tune FM Radio: Tune your car's FM radio to an unused frequency (one with no strong broadcast signal).
- Set Transmitter Frequency:
- Press and hold the Multi-function button (G) until the FM frequency on the LED display (C) starts flashing.
- Use the Previous Track (F) or Next Track (H) buttons to adjust the transmitter's frequency to match your car's FM radio frequency. The supported frequency range is 88.0 - 108.0 MHz.
- Once matched, press the Multi-function button (G) again to confirm the frequency.
- Pair Bluetooth Device:
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "CBT3348A" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the device is ready for audio streaming and hands-free calls.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Audio Playback
- Bluetooth Streaming: After successful Bluetooth pairing, play audio on your mobile device. The sound will be transmitted to your car's FM radio.
- USB Drive Playback: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3/WMA audio files into the USB Audio Playback Port (E). The device will automatically detect and play the audio.
- Controls:
- Press the Multi-function button (G) to Play/Pause audio.
- Press the Previous Track (F) button to go to the previous track.
- Press the Next Track (H) button to go to the next track.
5.2 Hands-Free Calling
The built-in microphone allows for hands-free communication.
- Answer Call: When an incoming call rings, press the Multi-function button (G) once to answer.
- End Call: During a call, press the Multi-function button (G) once to end the call.
- Reject Call: When an incoming call rings, press and hold the Multi-function button (G) for 2 seconds to reject the call.
- Redial Last Number: In standby mode, double-press the Multi-function button (G) to redial the last dialed number.
