3. Setup Instructions
- Clean Components: Before first use, thoroughly rinse all parts of the fountain (except the power adapter and pump) with water.
- Install Pump: Place the DC water pump into the designated area at the bottom of the fountain bowl. Ensure the suction cups firmly attach the pump to the base.
- Install Pre-filter Sponge: Place the sponge foam (pre-filter) over the pump to catch hair and debris.
- Place Filter Holder & Carbon Filter: Insert the filter holder onto the central column. Place the carbon filter into the filter holder.
- Add Water: Fill the fountain bowl with water up to the 'MAX' line. Do not overfill. The transparent wall and LED light make it easy to observe the water level.
- Place Lid & Spout: Place the lid onto the fountain bowl. Insert the flower/spout onto the central column, choosing your desired water flow mode (see Operating Instructions).
- Connect Power: Connect the USB cable from the pump to the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
Once assembled and filled, the fountain will begin circulating water when plugged in. The ultra-quiet pump operates below 40 decibels, ensuring a peaceful environment.
Water Flow Modes:
The Wonder Creature Cat Water Fountain offers three distinct water flow designs to encourage pets to drink more:
- Flower Waterfall: Provides multiple streams of water, mimicking a natural waterfall.
- Flower Bubble: Creates a gentle bubbling surface, ideal for pets who prefer stiller water with aeration.
- Gentle Bubble: A calm, bubbling flow without the flower attachment, offering a quiet and smooth water surface.
To change the water flow mode, simply adjust or remove the flower attachment on the central column. Ensure the water level is always maintained between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' indicators to prevent the pump from running dry.

5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity of your fountain and the health of your pet. The bowl and lid are dishwasher-safe for convenience.
Cleaning Schedule:
- Daily: Check water level and refill as needed.
- Every 2-3 Days: Rinse the pre-filter sponge to remove trapped hair and debris.
- Weekly: Disassemble and thoroughly clean all fountain components with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
- Monthly (or every 2-4 weeks): Replace the carbon filter. Frequency may vary depending on water quality and number of pets.
Filter System:
The fountain features a circulating filtration system:
- Pre-filter Sponge: Catches hair and larger debris, preventing them from reaching the pump.
- Charcoal Filter: Removes dirt, food particles, odors, and impurities, providing fresh, clean water.

Pump Cleaning:
The pump is detachable and replaceable. To clean the pump:
- Unplug the fountain.
- Remove the pump from the fountain.
- Disassemble the pump by removing the pump cover, impeller cap, and impeller.
- Clean all pump parts with a small brush and water to remove any mineral buildup or debris.
- Reassemble the pump and place it back into the fountain.
