The VBGK Double Induction Cooktop features two independent heating zones, each with its own LED display and touch controls. With a total power output of 2300W (1100W + 1200W), it allows for simultaneous cooking, enhancing kitchen efficiency. Its design supports both countertop placement and built-in installation.

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or damage to the appliance, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

Placement Options:

The VBGK Double Induction Cooktop offers flexible installation:

  • Countertop Use: Simply place the unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation.
  • Built-in Installation: The cooktop can be flush-mounted into a countertop. Refer to the dimensions below for proper cutout size. Use the provided seal tape around the edges to secure and seal the unit.

Electrical Connection:

Connect the cooktop to a standard 110V-120V AC power outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can support the 2300W power requirement.

5. Operating Instructions

Compatible Cookware:

Induction cooktops require cookware made of ferromagnetic materials. Compatible cookware includes:

  • Cast iron
  • Iron
  • Steel
  • Enameled iron
  • Stainless steel with a magnetic bottom

To check compatibility, place a magnet on the bottom of your cookware. If it sticks, the cookware is compatible. Cookware should be between 6-11 inches in diameter.

Basic Operation:

  1. Place compatible cookware, centered, on the desired cooking zone.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button for the respective zone to turn it on. The display will illuminate.
  3. Select the desired cooking mode (Heating, Timing, or Temperature) by pressing the mode button (often indicated by a hand icon or specific symbols).
  4. Adjust the power level (P1-P9) or temperature (80°C-240°C) using the '+' and '-' buttons.
  5. To set a timer, select the timing mode and use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the duration (1-120 minutes).
  6. To turn off a cooking zone, press its ON/OFF button again.

Child Safety Lock:

To activate the child safety lock, touch and hold the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds on the desired cooking zone. The display will show LOC. This prevents accidental changes to settings. To deactivate, repeat the process.

6. Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cooktop.

  • Cleaning the Surface: The black crystal surface is easy to clean. Wipe spills immediately with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent specifically designed for glass cooktops. Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal scouring pads, or iron scrapers as these can scratch the surface.
  • Cooling Fan: The cooktop features a bottom cooling fan. Ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked to allow for proper airflow.
  • Storage: If storing the cooktop for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
