Important Safety Instructions

Setup

Unboxing and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.
  3. Ensure all components are present: the cooktop unit and power cord.

Placement

  • Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block the air vents located on the bottom and sides of the cooktop.
  • Keep a minimum distance of 4 inches (10 cm) from walls or other appliances to allow for proper airflow.
  • Avoid placing the cooktop near water sources or in direct sunlight.

Power Connection

  • This cooktop operates on 110V~120V and requires a 15A standard outlet.

Operating Instructions

Compatible Cookware

The VBGK Double Induction Cooktop requires cookware with a magnetic bottom.

  • Compatible Materials: Cast iron, iron, induction steel, and stainless steel pots/pans with magnetic bottoms.
  • Test: If a magnet sticks to the bottom of your cookware, it is compatible.
  • Incompatible Materials: Glass, ceramic, copper, and aluminum cookware without a magnetic base.

Control Panel Overview

The cooktop features an LED sensor touch control panel for each burner.

  • ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
  • Function Button: Toggles between wattage (W) and temperature (°F/°C) settings.
  • "+" / "Up" Button: Increases wattage or temperature.
  • "-" / "Down" Button: Decreases wattage or temperature.
  • Timer Button: Activates and adjusts the cooking timer.
  • Lock Button: Engages or disengages the child safety lock.

Basic Operation

  1. Place compatible cookware with contents on the desired heating zone.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button for the respective burner to turn it on. The display will show "ON".
  3. The cooktop will automatically detect the cookware. If no cookware is detected within 30 seconds, the unit will shut down (E0 error).
  4. Use the Function button to select between wattage (W) or temperature (°F/°C) mode.
  5. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the power level or temperature. The cooktop offers 9 power levels.
  6. To turn off a burner, press its ON/OFF button again.

Timer Function

  • While a burner is operating, press the Timer button.
  • Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired cooking time, from 1 to 180 minutes.
  • The timer will count down, and the cooktop will automatically shut off the burner when the time expires.

Child Safety Lock

  • To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the Lock button for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears.
  • Once activated, the control panel will be locked, preventing accidental changes to settings or turning the unit on/off.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the Lock button again until the indicator disappears.

Cleaning the Cooktop Surface

  1. Always ensure the cooktop is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the black smooth surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.
  3. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for glass or ceramic cooktops.
  4. Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or steel wool, as these can scratch the surface.
  5. Dry the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.

Cooling Fan Maintenance

  • The cooktop is equipped with upgraded low-noise cooling fans.

  • Do not insert any objects into the fan or vents.

Error Codes

E5Overheat.The internal components have overheated. Turn off the unit, unplug it, and let it cool completely before attempting to use it again.
