1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • This appliance is intended for household use only.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Child Safety Lock: This hob features a safety lock to prevent accidental changes to settings.
  • Overheat Protection: The hob will automatically shut off if it detects overheating.
  • Residual Heat Warning: An "H" indicator will remind you of hot surfaces after use.
  • Automatic Pot Detection: The appliance will automatically turn off if no cookware or incorrect cookware is detected.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Unboxing

Carefully remove the AMZCHEF induction hob from its packaging. Ensure all components are present. The package includes the cooktop unit only.

2.2 Dimensions and Placement

The product dimensions are 59 cm (L) x 52 cm (W) x 6 cm (H). The built-in dimensions are 56.5 cm (L) x 49.5 cm (W). Ensure a minimum clearance of 50 mm around the cutout for proper ventilation. The thickness of the work surface should be at least 50 mm.

2.3 Electrical Connection

The hob operates on 220-240V, 50-60Hz and has a total wattage of 7200W. Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician. Refer to the wiring diagram provided in the image above for correct connections. The power cable is not included and must be connected by a professional.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Touch Controls

The hob features intuitive touch controls for power adjustment, timer settings, and special functions.

3.2 Power Levels and Boost Function

The hob offers 9 power levels for precise cooking control. Each zone also includes a "Booster" function for rapid heating. For example, the 2000W zones can boost to 2600W, and 1500W zones to 1800W, boiling water significantly faster.

3.3 Flexible Cooking Zones

The AMZCHEF induction hob features flexible cooking zones. Two zones can be combined to create a larger cooking area, ideal for griddle pans or larger pots.

3.4 Innovative Functions

  • Warm-up Function: Keeps food at an optimal serving temperature.
  • STOP+GO Function: Allows you to pause cooking and resume with the same settings.
  • Multifunctional Timer: Set a timer for each cooking zone, which will automatically switch off after the preset time.

4. Cookware Compatibility

For optimal performance, use cookware with a magnetic base. Compatible materials include iron, cast iron, enameled iron, or magnetic stainless steel. The hob features automatic pot detection and will not operate with incompatible cookware.

5. Care and Maintenance

The hob's polished ceramic glass surface is easy to clean and impact-resistant.

  • Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
  • For stubborn stains, use a specialized ceramic hob cleaner.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
  • Regular cleaning helps maintain the hob's appearance and performance.

6. Troubleshooting Guide

If you encounter issues with your AMZCHEF induction hob, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
