Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

1. Drone Battery: Insert the fully charged lithium-ion battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks into place. Ensure the battery is oriented correctly.
2. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control and insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Close the cover.
3. Charging: Use the provided USB charging cable to charge the drone batteries. Connect the cable to a USB power adapter (5V/2A recommended). The indicator light on the cable will turn off when charging is complete. Charging time is approximately 60-80 minutes per battery.

2. Propeller Installation (if necessary)

If propellers are not pre-installed, attach them according to the markings (A and B) on the propellers and motor arms. Ensure they are securely fastened with the provided screws.

3. App Download and Connection

1. Download the "4DRC PRO" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Turn on the drone by pressing the power button. The LED indicators will flash.
3. Go to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi network named "4DRC-XXXXXX".
4. Open the 4DRC PRO app. The drone's camera feed should appear on your screen, indicating a successful connection.

4. Calibration

Before each flight, calibrate the drone for stable performance:

• Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
• Turn on the remote control.
• Push the left joystick up then down to pair the remote with the drone. The drone's lights will stop flashing and become solid.
• Push both joysticks down and to the right simultaneously for a few seconds until the drone's lights flash rapidly and then become solid again. This indicates successful gyroscope calibration.

Operating Instructions

Basic Flight Controls

• One-Key Takeoff: Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button. The drone will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
• Manual Takeoff: After calibration, slowly push the left joystick up. The propellers will start spinning, and the drone will lift off.
• Ascend/Descend: Push the left joystick up to ascend, pull down to descend.
• Forward/Backward: Push the right joystick up to fly forward, pull down to fly backward.
• Left/Right (Sideways Flight): Push the right joystick left to fly left, push right to fly right.
• Rotate Left/Right (Yaw): Push the left joystick left to rotate counter-clockwise, push right to rotate clockwise.
• One-Key Landing: Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button again. The drone will automatically descend and land.
• Emergency Stop: In an emergency, press and hold the emergency stop button (refer to remote control diagram) to immediately cut power to the motors.

Advanced Flight Features

• Altitude Hold Function: The drone maintains a stable altitude automatically, allowing you to focus on directional control. This feature is active by default after takeoff.
• Headless Mode: Press the Headless Mode button. In this mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's front direction. This simplifies control for beginners.
• Speed Modes: Press the Speed Switch button to cycle through 3 speed settings (low, medium, high). Start with low speed for learning.
• 360° Flip: Fly the drone to a height of at least 2 meters. Press the 360° Flip button, then push the right joystick in any direction to perform a flip.
• Circle Fly: Activate this feature via the app. The drone will fly in a circular path around a designated point.
• Waypoints Fly: In the app, draw a flight path on the map. The drone will automatically follow the defined route.
• Gesture Control: Use specific hand gestures in front of the camera to trigger photo or video recording (e.g., raising your palm for a photo, V-sign for video).
