Operating Instructions
The Jardibric 1-Way Watering Programmer features two simple rotary dials for setting your watering schedule.
1. Setting Watering Frequency
The top dial controls how often the watering cycle will repeat.
- Rotate the FREQUENCY dial to your desired interval. Options typically include:
- 1 Hour, 2 Hours, ... 12 Hours: For frequent watering.
- 24 Hours, 48 Hours, 72 Hours: For daily or multi-day intervals.
- 1 Week: For weekly watering.
- Reset: Returns the programmer to its initial state.
- The timer will start its countdown immediately after you set the frequency.
2. Setting Run Time
The bottom dial controls how long each watering cycle will last.
- Rotate the RUN TIME dial to your desired duration. Options typically include:
- 1 min, 3 min, ... 120 min: For various watering durations.
- ON: For continuous watering (manual override).
- OFF: To stop all watering (manual override).
- Ensure the run time is set before the frequency countdown completes for the first cycle.
3. Manual Operation (ON/OFF)
You can manually turn the water on or off at any time using the RUN TIME dial.
- To turn water on continuously, rotate the RUN TIME dial to ON. Water will flow until you turn the dial to OFF or a timed setting.
- To turn water off immediately, rotate the RUN TIME dial to OFF. This will stop any ongoing cycle and prevent future cycles until a timed setting is selected.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the programmer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the unit stops functioning correctly. Always use fresh 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.
- Winterization: Before the first frost, disconnect the programmer from the tap and hose. Drain any remaining water from the unit. Store the programmer indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Removing batteries during storage is recommended.
